The Paris Motor Show will be taking place next month from the 1st to the 16th of October. But just in case you couldn’t find a reason to come, between all the latest futuristic concepts and SUVs on show, the programmers have provided a preview of some of the most enticing performance models. Rare and high performance, these cars are not only likely to attract the crowds, but have them in attendance gaping, jaw dropped and wondering how in the hell did they ever pull this off?
LaFerrari Aperta
While spotted like a rare bird fluttering around the boulevards of Paris, the Motor Show will give us our first chance to see this automotive masterpiece up close. Yet the experience could well be a tease, that is if you are not part of Ferrari’s inner circle, with all models of the LaFerrari Aperta already sold out.
Mercedes AMG GTC
Undeniably the AMG GT is hot, but if possible Mercedes has outdone itself here by turning this spectacular sports car into an even more desirous convertible. The GTC packs its power with the same drivetrain of a 4.0L twin turbo V8 that boasts 557 horsepower and 502 lb-ft of torque, allowing it to hit 100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds.
Porsche Panamera
When it comes to the Porsche Panamera we already know what we’re getting and we know that it’s good. Therefore we have every expectation that the high performance sports car with excellent pedigree will not disappoint with its 2017 version. Indeed, the latest version has been redesigned and has a feistier look than its predecessor, while its engine make up now includes a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 that produces 550 horsepower. Despite its build as a spacious four door sportscar, its likeness to a race car has not been lost on its creators who have raced it on Nurburgring, with stunning results having achieved a time of 7:38 seconds for completing the lap.
Bentley Flying Spur
Bentley will be swiping off the silk cover for its 2017 Flying Spur with the status claim that it will be the first of its grand scale four door models that will be able to speed through 320 km/h. Gifted with a 6.0L twin turbocharged W12, it will produce 626 hp and 605 lb-ft of torque and have the means to launch to 100km/h in 4.2 seconds. Doing so, on an exceptionally smooth build up of power.
