Leicester Players and their Cars

Having only narrowly avoided being relegated last season, in an amazing transformation Leicester City FC has come out on top winning the premier league for the first time in their 132 year history. While many a pundit may have lost any chance of a winning with expectations for the team being utterly smashed, the players themselves are riding high as they are being courted for contracts. Let’s take a look at what luxury cars, the favourite foxers have bought with their newly gained pools of cash.

Jamie Vardy and his impressive performance as striker has not only scored goals, but a contract extension with the East Midlands Club. To celebrate this continued success, Vardy bought himself a Bentley Continental in a dark blue finish in true homage to the colour’s of Leicester City FC. To think that only a short time ago, the closest Vardy ever got to a Bentley was in his dreams, he has certainly come a long way from days when he was playing for teams out of the top leagues of England.

Daniel Simpson, bringing a track record of performance to Leicester FC having already played for Manchester United, Newcastle United and Queens Park Rangers, Simpson probably had the cash for his Lamborghini Huracan long before the rest in his team did. But still has Leicester City’s right back he’s not the only player to sport the model, as both Nathan Dyer and Jeff Schlupp have also been seen driving the Huracan. Choosing to go with the original, the team’s defensive Midfielder, Gökhan Inler, purchased the Gallardo.

Kasper Schmeichel, following the apparent rule that a Range Rover must be owned by at least one player in every Premier League squad, is Schmeichel, the team’s goalkeeper, who is a ticking off the requirement with the Range Rover Autobiography. But to make sure all bases are covered he also owns a Mercedes AMG GT Roadster. Phew!

Leonardo Ulloa, England’s new favourite Argentinian striker apparently now gets around in a Porsche Cayenne which doesn’t come any cheaper than £53,000 but is typically far more than that with trim fittings. Yet, keeping the team grounded however is N’golo Kante, who came to the first game without a vehicle to his name at all, but these days he gets around in a used mini hatchback that he is rather fond of.
