The LOOP, Germany’s only luxury travel trade fair is expected to take place in Frankfurt am Main, Germany from April 10 – 13, 2016. The LOOP, which stands for “Luxury On Our Planet” is heralded by its many organisers and fair attendees as being a critical event in the luxury travel industry’s calendar. The B2B trade show provides its many exhibitors and and guests with highly well organised and enjoyable networking opportunities.
The vision of LOOP is to introduce luxury tourism services and products from around the world to best buyers from Germany as well as Central and Eastern European countries, by coming together all under one hotel’s very elegant roof. Each of the hosted VIP buyers are linked with the right people within the hospitality industry, so that partners are able to form valuable contacts. This trade show is particularly unique as it is very focused and well executed , appointments are held over 15 minute intervals, allowing participants to be introduced to a wide number of potential candidate offerings. There is also the opportunity to intensify and build on contacts during the later evening’s functions.
While for others, LOOP was just well, sexy. With its small and intimate character, rather than walking through a large exhibition building, the focus is more on talking to people face to face and getting out of interactions exactly the information you need. Wilhelm Luxem from Baur au Lac, explained “First of all that everything is working. It is well organised, the people are disciplined and it seems like it is the right audience who understand from both sides what it is all about.”
