Cheapest Luxury Hotel Rooms

If you have the itch to travel, now is the time to go. With the European currency in a slump, the flip side is that it is making your travel plans a lot more do-able. There are numerous accommodation places now available where the savvy traveler can get more bang for his or her buck, or live a little more extravagantly than usual during their time away.

Even in prime tourist cities like London and Paris, a luxury hotel room can be booked out for under $200 a night. While in Italy, we found five-star hotel rooms available in Pisa for just $141.

According to Ania Wroblewska, a luxury travel consultant with New York City-based Classic Travel, it’s even easier to snag great deals in up-and-coming holiday destinations such as Warsaw, Poland where five-star hotel rooms are averaging just $130 per night.

Wroblewska explains that in these up-and-coming destinations that have not yet been discovered by the masses, supply is still very competitive as they try to capture the trickling demand. Poland is a prime example of this, as “an up-and-coming destination, it’s part of the European Union so there are a lot more non-stop flights, and cheap flights. But it still does not have the euro. So the exchange rate is very, very good - especially for Americans."

For those interested one particular hotel is the Hotel Bristol in Warsaw, a stunning property which is located in the city’s center, it is close to restaurants, shopping, the presidential palace and the Old Town. The building is famous in the city for its marble lobby, antique elevator and having hosted famous visitors such as Mick Jagger. During high season a room in the hotel can be booked between $200 to $300 a night, but if you are willing to travel during the colder months of the year it, a luxuriously appointed room can be yours for $100 a night.
