While the hassles and costs associated with maintaining one’s own private jet is not a problem most of us can relate to, VistaJet has resolved this issue even before most of us were aware that this was one. In just one more silver service, luxury offering to the world’s most rich and famous, VistaJet offers top tier clientele the opportunity to fly across borders with all the advantageous of a private jet, yet without any of the hassle.
According to the company’s founder and director Thomas Flohr, the “uniqueness of VistaJet’s business model allows for all the benefits of owning a personal jet without the responsibilities or asset risk of ownership”. Flohr considers this service to be an alternative flight solution, that with no asset investment offers all the benefits of a private jet, such as door to door service, exceptionally luxurious comfort fittings and guaranteed availability. As part of demonstrating this objective, VistaJet offers potential clients a value calculator where they can determine the relative expenses of market depreciation and hourly flying costs between owning a private plane and booking a VistaJet flight.
The Challenger 605 is a recently purchased intercontinental jet. In line with the company’s service offerings, it possesses an exceptionally wide cabin and seats up to 12 people of which 5 have sleeping positions. Purchased through VistaJet’s Fleet Renewal Program, this jet, along with another 10 such models, all have an average age of less than one year.
The company which achieved a $300 million USD senior unsecured note offering back in May of this year, did so after it obtained its first public corporate credit rating of B+/Stable from Standard & Poors and Fitch. Certainly not a bad start for a company that was only founded in 2004. To date VistaJet has sent its arsenal of over 50 aircrafts to over 180 countries, landed at 1,320 airports, for which it has logged over 70,000 flights and has carried over 165,000 passengers.
