Having been just one of the casualties of the recent Chennai floods that occurred in early December of last year, these cars were subsequently classified as “damaged vehicles” and deemed to be beyond repair by insurance firms. Nevertheless, if you are feeling game if enough to take on the risk, they can be scooped up for as little as Rs 2 lakh, which equates to about 2,700 Euro.
According to claims filed by insurance companies, as many as 30,000 cars were damaged in the flood, of which only 10,000 vehicles will attempted to be sold at these auctions. Going specials are set to include a BMW 3 Series that will start at Rs 6 lakh (8,000 €). A 2015 Audi A4 which is expected to be available at Rs 3.4 lakh (4,570 €), while a Porsche Cayenne, 2012 model, will make one owner proud with a going price of Rs 5 lakh (6,723 €). However, If you are thinking of taking your chances with these bargains, you might just want to think about bringing your blow dryer along with you.
