West Italy’s red carpet route rolls out for travel and car enthusiasts this May 2017 through Dream Trip Italia, by Dream Trip Events.
Founded by car and travel experts Krzysztof Przybyła and Artur Rychliński from Poland, Dream Trip Events specializes in planning memorable luxury trips in Europe designed for owners of supercars or luxury car renters, now enabled by the recent partnership with Europe Luxury Car Hire. Dream Trip Events mission is to guide their expedition participants into the best race tracks, superb hotels, 3 star Michelin restaurants, along winding and scenic switchback roads.
The forthcoming event is Dream Trip Italia, an eight-day grandiose tour, which will take place in the mountainous region of Liguria, Italy on May 13 to 20, 2017. The route stretches to the scenic coastal and highland roads of West Italy, including Pisa, Lucca, Santa Margherita Ligure, Rapallo, Portofino, Piedmont and Portovenere, and partially extends to the Grand Prix Monaco section in France. The event will commence on May 13 as the elite group of participants arrive to the designated hotel in Pisa and attend a dinner gala.
The next morning, the road trip will begin as the vehicles steer towards a well known route in Lucca where one of the Top Gear episodes was filmed. Threading through the mountain roads of Tuscany will lead riders to the picturesque medieval walled town of Castiglione di Garfagnana where a unique lunch experience will await them. Drivers will continue through the winding roads until they reach Monterosso al Mare, a home to medieval castles and a sizable beach. Dinner will be held at a nearby fishing village of Vernazza, a beautiful spot in Cinque Terre nature reserve.
Setting out from Monterosso and heading to the west, the third day’s route itinerary includes the town of Santa Margherita Ligure, a picture-perfect seaside esplanade, the municipality of Rapallo, a seafront resort promenade, the fishing village of Portofino featuring its picturesque port, and Camogli, another fishing area providing a great view. After passing through Genoa motorway, the convoy will veer north and experience a thrilling drive among the serpentine mountain roads. The day ends as participants settle at Finale Ligure for two nights.
The following day is dedicated for tourists’ pure relaxation at the beach, although those who choose to explore the road can take a pre-planned route running along the mountain trails to Alba in the Cuneo Province of Piedmont, dotted with numerous vineyards along the way.
On Wednesday, the road will stretch to Casanova Lerrone, a mountain town in the highlands of Andorra, ending in Monte Carlo, at the luxurious Fairmont Hotel, under which is the famous tunnel section of Grand Prix Monaco. Participants will have the chance to explore the beautiful city.
From luxury cars to luxury boats. the sixth day raises the bar higher as it features an expedition test of one of Frauscher’s high-end boats in Monaco, after a privileged breakfast with Patrick Marine, a renowned personality in the boats and yachts distribution industry.
Participants will rush through one of the most beautiful motorways in Europe, the Autostrada dei Fiori, Motorway of the Flowers, as they head back to Italy on the seventh day of the trip. The route continues to another popular road, Strada dell’amore or the Road of Love, a trail that links the scenic villages of Liguria in the nature reserve of Cinque Terre. Upon arrival to the Marina di Massa Tuscan resort, a dinner gala will be held to end the Dream Trip Italia 2017. The next morning, day 8, after a refreshing night and rich breakfast, participants will set on their way.
The participation fee of € 3,500 includes two people in one supercar and covers double room accommodations on five star hotels, full-board meals, entrance to site attractions, vehicle navigation equipment and the ever-present service of event organizers. While car enthusiasts joining this trip can bring their own luxury vehicle, they also have the option to rent superior models through Dream Trip Events at a separate cost.
