The Italian Supercar maker has registered quite a performance with its 8,000th Huracan Model being produced in just 3 years time. The lucky customer in UK will receive the Lamborghini Huracan Spyder in a beautiful gray metallic colour (Grigio Lynks). This important landmark confirms that the Huracan as their entry level supercar is an even more popular model than its successful predecessor, the Gallardo, which sold - only - 14,000 units within 10 years.
Industry experts explain that the success of the Huracan is due to its variety of versions, a coupe and spyder editions, available with a an all-wheel drive or a rear wheel-drive. These both have a 7 speed dual clutch automatic transmission as well as a 5.2 L naturally aspirated engine, with slight differences of output.
Furthermore, the line-up contains a new and more powerful version : The Lamborghini Huracan Performante with an all-wheel drive transmission, fitted with a 5.2 L V10 engine producing 630 bhp and 443 pound-feet of torque. Later on this year, the spyder version will follow.Lamborghini has set another goal, hoping to improve its production even more next year with the launch of the Urus, their first Lamborghini SUV which will have a biturbo V8 engine. 10,000 units are planned to be built in 2018 to be put on the market at a price of around $200,000.
