Day 1 – Granada<\/h3>\n

Touching down in Spain, pick up the newest Ferrai Portofino rental in M\u00e1laga<\/a>. A solid stallion with room enough for four adults, it\u2019s the perfect companion for a two day trip in sunny southern Spain.<\/p>\n

Hit the highway in style, throw down the top and rev the engine as you head east from M\u00e1laga on highway N-340 for a most scenic tour along the coast. First stop is Nerja, about an hour drive from M\u00e1laga. Wander through the old quarter, virtually unchanged it has the typical narrow, winding streets and whitewashed houses. After roaming through town head to Nerja\u2019s spectacular Balc\u00f3n de Europa (Balcony of Europe). Situated along the edge of a towering cliff, a magnificent large, round balcony affords sweeping panoramic views of the Mediterranean.<\/p>\n

Listening to tunes on your nine amplified speakers, head north for a quick pit stop in Frigiliana, one of Spain\u2019s most picturesque villages. Wander around its labyrinth of narrow, meandering streets and stumble across charming little shops. Stop and have a great lunch at The Garden Restaurant serving up a wide selection of tapas and Mediterranean cuisine. Its open-air terrace provides stunning views of the town, mountains and the coast. The menu changes seasonally with some year round favorites, along with a great choice of tapas, specialty foods of the region and other superb dishes. The food pairs lovingly with a vast selection of regional wines.<\/p>\n

\"The<\/p>\n

With the fully responsive gauge layout, the Mini Cooper Cabrio<\/a> stang will guide you along the coast with the wind in your hair. A 1\/2 hour drive brings you through La Herradura, a quaint fishing village, then onto Almu\u00f1\u00e9car, one of the coast\u2019s most popular travel destinations. A worthy visit for its seafood alone, it\u2019s an alluring old town with a charming seafront promenade awash in quaint restaurants and bars.<\/p>\n

\"Playa<\/p>\n

After a quick dip in the sea, continue on the N-340 before revving the Mini’s engine north up the A-44 to Granada. Nestled in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada, Granada has some of the world\u2019s most exceptional Moorish monuments. Partake in a flamenco show in Sacromonte, a gypsy district famous for its unusual cave dwellings.<\/p>\n

Back in your car head west on A-92 for an hour, stopping for the evening at La Bobadilla, a Royal Hideaway Hotel. Constructed in the style of a traditional Andalusian palace, prices start at \u20ac320 per night. Indulge in one of their spa treatments and follow up with the best in elegant, fine dining at La Finca. La Finca, overlooking expansive unspoiled forests, has a range of seasonal Mediterranean cuisine and is the only 5-star restaurant in the Granada region.<\/p>\n

Day 2 – Costa del Sol, Puerto Ban\u00fas<\/h3>\n

Wake up and make your Mini Cooper engine purr as you take highway A-92 into Antequera, the heart of Andalusia, both geographically and historically. The delightful village is one of the region\u2019s best-kept secrets. Stop for some breakfast before heading south to test out how well the Mini handles the curves as you drive for 2 hours down to Gibraltar.<\/p>\n

Once at the southern tip, take a cable car ride up to the top of The Rock for some sensational views spanning across to Africa. Enjoy lunch at the Terrace Restaurant in The Rock Hotel where you can appreciate dining al fresco while getting a taste of Morocco, Spain and the best of British fine dining.<\/p>\n

Turn your eye candy back onto the road, this time taking the A-7 along the coast for approximately an hour till you reach Puerto Ban\u00fas<\/a> and indulge in some boutique shopping and celebrity spotting. After enjoying some retail therapy, check into Melia Marbella Ban\u00fas in Marbella<\/a> for a view of the sea and spend the afternoon relaxing by the pool. The hotel provides a wellness area, gym, treatment rooms, multiple pools and a tennis court.<\/p>\n

\"Puerto<\/p>\n

For dinner head to Los Bandidos, located at the marina. In operation for over 29 years, they offer innovative, classic cuisine in a small, elegant atmosphere. Start off with some freshly grilled Foie-gras of duck with mango and a port wine reduction, avocado with prawns and cocktail sauce. For the main course try the delicious lobster fricass\u00e9e flavored with curry on a bed of fettuccini and rocket or the fillet of veal stuffed with Bavarian cheese.<\/p>\n

After this sumptuous dinner, opt for a night on the town. Try Pangea Club, famous amongst the stars, or something more low-key like one of the many music bars. There is entertainment to suit everyone until the early morning hours.<\/p>\n

Day 3 – M\u00e1laga<\/h3>\n

The last morning enjoy the sea views with breakfast at the hotel before grinding gears and taking the A-7 to the N-340.
