Your first day won\u2019t be complete until you stop off at MyZeil. This giant shopping mall is located right in the heart of Frankfurt and is the largest shopping and entertainment parks in all of Germany. For those interested in a history lesson, we recommend a stop off at Hauptwache.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Then, end off your day at the Goethe House to enjoy the picture of where Johann Wolfgang Goethe was born and grew up. For a five-star stay while in Frankfurt, make reservations at Villa Kennedy. We particularly love how this modern hotel is set within a historic building. It also houses an upscale Italian restaurant, full bar, spa, pool and garden. You\u2019ll be pleased with the proximity to everything on your itinerary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Day 2 \u2013 Palmengarten to Old Opera House<\/h3>\n\n\n\n For the second day of your trip, you\u2019ll be relaxing and enjoying time in a plant paradise in the heart of Germany.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Start off at Palmengarten which is the largest botanical gardens in the country. With over 54 acres of land, you are sure to experience a serene and peaceful restoration among the many varieties of plant species.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Then, make a stop off at the Senckenberg Natural History Museum. This is one of the largest history museums in the country and offers a unique look at biodiversity in our world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You\u2019ll be one of the half a million other people that step through the doors every year! Stop off at the dinosaur fossils and life-size recreations for a unique picture into the world that once was.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A great end to your day will be a stop off at the old Opera House. This is in the Innenstadt inner-city district and has the most magnificent staircase you\u2019ve ever seen. The main hall holds over 2,000 people and features a wide range of programs. Choose from your favorite jazz performance or select one of the classic music shows instead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If you want a break from beer and sausage, head to the Main Tower Restaurant & Lounge for dinner. This building stands tall at over 61 feet over the city of Frankfurt and is easy to spot. With the high-level of culinary experience and breathtaking panoramic view of the city, you\u2019ll enjoy dining on the 53rd-floor restaurant. It\u2019s the best way to treat a loved one to a romantic dinner after a day of adventures in Frankfurt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Day 3 – Staedel Museum to St. Paul’s Church<\/h3>\n\n\n\n For your final day in Frankfurt, consider making a trip to some of the lesser-known spots. For some more art gazing, you\u2019ll want to make a stop at the Stadel Museum. While inside, you\u2019ll have access to over 2,000 paintings, 600 sculptures and 100,000 drawings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Then, make your way to the famous iron footbridge, Eiserner Steg which spans the river Main embankment. You\u2019ll recognize it as one of the most photographed sites in the city. This often makes it onto postcards and is a great place to take photos of your loved ones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Drive your elite Porsche back into the Old Town Altstadt district to enjoy R\u00f6merberg. This square is lively and full of excitement no matter what time of the year you visit. In fact, throughout the year, you\u2019ll find many large trade fairs which attract merchants from as far away as Italy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Your next stop is at R\u00f6mer or the town hall of Frankfurt. It won\u2019t take long to visit here, but everyone needs to see the ornate decorations at least once.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Road Trips from Frankfurt<\/h3>\n\n\n\n If hanging in the city isn\u2019t how you planned to spend the summer trip to Frankfurt, there are plenty of road trips you can take in your Porsche Panamera as well. One of our favorite locations is two hours west of the city in Cochem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This picturesque town is filled with timbered homes and is located right in the Mosel River Valley. Stop off at the majestic Schloss Reichsburg castle. Then, head above the castle on Pinnerkreuz Mountain to view Schloss Reichsburg in a manner that takes your breath away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
