See the medieval gatehouse, the Westgate, which is the 18m high western gate of the city wall. It is one of the city’s most distinctive landmarks as it is the last survivor of Canterbury’s seven medieval gates. Relax and take an historic river boat tour along the Stour to get a different view of the city from the water.
Spend the afternoon at the Canterbury Royal Museum and Art Gallery before settling down for a traditional English meal at the Old Weavers Restaurant.
