Keeping Ferrari Passions Ablaze in Monza

May 25, 2016

Cruising around in a bold red Ferrari is certainly a way to show that you have arrived. Drop the top, slip on your designer sun shields and no more need be said. But, these cars are not just for showing off! You have a desire for speed and what better way to experience the full corrupting power of this beauty, than on the racetracks of Monza?

Breathtaking opportunities are available for you to learn and experience supercar racing with world class drivers in a controlled and exclusive environment in Monza.

Monza is an ancient Italian city filled with museums, plazas, landscaped gardens, culture and history. All with one fabulous difference, it is the home of the European Formula One Race Track, known by millions the world over. Rent a Ferrari in Milan and set off to experience for yourself the adrenaline rush and spine tingling experience of driving your very own Ferrari in this iconic venue.

Arrive first class at Milan Linate Airport and relax in the VIP lounge while the keys to your Ferrari 488 Spider are delivered to you with all the paper work done and sorted. Then head into Milan and spend the night at the classy boutique Armani Hotel Milano. It is located in the upmarket Quadrilatero della Moda district. Tastefully appointed with exclusive Armani Casa furnishings, this is the perfect base from which to explore the city. Wake up to a scrumptious buffet-style breakfast and then head north on a short 30 km drive to Monza.

Your Ferrari 488 Spider is designed to delight. The car was first showcased at the famous Frankfurt Motor Show in September 2015. It is acclaimed to be the most aerodynamically efficient Spider ever built and the most powerful with 660 horsepower. If the idea of getting from 0-100 km/hour in 3 seconds and reaching speeds of 330 km/hour sets your teeth chattering, than this is for you.

When you reach Monza, head for the track. There are a variety of courses and experiences to choose from, depending on your skills and driving abilities. No matter how good your skills are, we always recommend taking a safe driving course at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza as a great way to start. Here you will be taught the skills of controlling a super car under a number of different conditions. The course is part theoretical and part practical. Learn how to drive on wet, dry, smooth and rough surfaces. Understand how to maintain control when unexpected obstacles block your way. Learn how to brake when taking corners at high speed and how to deal with loss of wheel grip and possible aquaplaning on slippery roads.

When you are done, book in for the Monza Track Day. You will be dressed up in dashing racing gear and introduced to your experienced driver tutor, who will accompany you as a passenger for the duration of the drive.

Head off to the starting line and wait for the flag. Hit the pedal and make your dream come true and as you speed around this phenomenal track. Swerve off and pull in like a pro at the pit stop, drum your fingers on the steering wheel, roar off again and cross the finishing line!

Depending on the tour you book, you can lap around the course several times, you can test drive a number of different supercar vehicles and even speed around in a genuine Formula One car. These trips suit all ages, you are never too old. After the adrenaline rush, claim your personal show-off certificate, take your selfies and set off back to Milan. Though this time, try to keep to the speed limit.

Apart from the thrill of the racing track, there are many fascinating things to do and places to explore in the beautiful city of Milan. History buffs will be enchanted by the magnificent Museo e Tesoro del Duomo which contains one of the greatest collections of religious art in Europe. Be awed at the medieval treasure in the Duomo, known as the Corona Ferrea or Iron Crown. According to legend, it contains one of the nails from the Crucifixion.

Take a drive in your sporty Ferrari to the stunning Lake Como. It is about about an hour away and the road trip offers the perfect opportunity to experience the thrill of your car. Explore the picturesque town surrounded by towering snow capped mountains. Pick up a souvenir in a quaint store. Then park your car where all can admire it and enjoy the stunning views on a funicular ride. On the drive back, stop at the Basilica of Sant'Abbondio, a beautiful Romanesque church built in the 11th century.

A show at Teatro alla Scala is a must! After the show, drive to the charming Fiera area of Milan. Here you can relax and sample local pasta delights at a traditional trattoria before cruising back to your hotel.

Don't wait, make it happen. We have a stunning range of Ferraris in Milan ready and waiting to take off. Book yours today!
