If you are new to driving an electric car, it is quite simple. To get going, all you do is select Drive Mode by flicking a lever behind the steering wheel and push the accelerator as you would in a standard automatic car. Stopping uses strong regenerative braking that helps recharge the battery and causes the car to decelerate as soon as you lift your foot off the pedal. You will soon get used to it!
