McLaren 675LT Rental

With a body frame and racing technology gleaned from the F1 GTR Longtail which pushed the boundaries of performance to its limit by winning the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1997, McLaren forged the path to creating the inspiration behind the McLaren 675LT. Like its conceptual forbearer it possesses the same characteristic longer nose and highly conspicuous extended tail, only this time, made out of extreme light weight carbon fibre monocoque.

There are supercars, and then there is the Mclaren 675LT which offers its drivers the experience of raw adrenaline, unleashed and untamed. Driver focused, lighter, faster and highly agile, even for McLaren, the 675LT marks a pinnacle of achievement as the most exclusive series production car the automaker has ever built. In McLaren’s own words the 675LT delivers a “visceral driving experience of unique intensity”.

The carbon fiber bodywork of the 675LT may well be the secret source of the supercar’s success. In spectacular fashion the carbon fibre MonoCell increases the supercar’s downforce by an impressive 40 percent more than any other model in the McLaren Super Series. Whilst also reducing weight and enhancing safety and agility.

In a similar vein, the performance attributes of the 675LT are striking. Composed of a re-configured M838TL V8 twin-turbocharged engine that powers 666 bhp and 700Nm of torque, which is all brought to full force with a seven speed dual clutch gearbox.

Other features that certainly add to the quality of the drive include lightweight alloy wheels and quality Pirelli P-Zero Trofeo R tyres, precise carbon ceramic brakes and an uprated suspension system that boasts impressive performance from technology that was largely gleaned from the McLaren P1.

McLaren’s experience on the race track has fed directly into the design of the 675LT. From concept, to blueprint and finally production, traces of racing car success is visible throughout the development of the supercar.
