Chamonix is a snow lover’s paradise! When you arrive after a trip through breathtaking scenery, you will be awed at the Mer de Glace, one of the biggest glaciers in Europe. Ride the Aiguille du Midi cable car, one of the highest cable cars in the world. It starts at 1035m and finishes at a mind-blowing height of 3810m. Then try out the exhilarating 5 km cable car ride over the snow capped mountains from the French side, Aiguille du Midi to Helbronner on the Italian side.
