In this incredible 360 degree video get into the driver’s seat of the Infiniti QX30 and experience the look and feel of the luxury SUV first hand. The video shares the engineering development of the car from conceptual design to stunning finished product. In a seamless footage, viewers trace the development from pencil sketches into CAD renderings, that in turn becomes a clay model, and finally the completed SUV with its metal exterior.
The video is given further insight by the narration of the Executive Design Director, Alfonso Albais who explains that the car’s styling represents “a harmonised chaos” of contours and fabrics to deliver a car that is “deeply considered”.
The video is the second of an innovative two part film series that debuted at this year’s Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. The receptive audience was duly impressed, enjoying the experience of the luxury car taking form in full circle around them. The video, available below uses Youtube's 360° playback, where users can direct their view and look around the car as it builds to completion. The team behind the project tells us the motivation to create this innovative footage was “to literally bring (viewers) inside of the Infiniti brand, an Infiniti car and an engaging story."
