Lamborghini’s newest hypercar is expected to make its debut at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show this upcoming spring.
The soon-to-be-unveiled, limited-production hypercar has already been seen by lucky prospective buyers in hologram form during the Pebble Beach Car Week this past August.
According to company sources, the new limited edition hypercar will bear the name Lamborghini Centenario LP 770-4, in honour of the birth of the company’s founder Ferruccio Lamborghini, 100 years ago.
The Centenario LP 770-4 is expected to be powered by a 770PS (759hp) version of the naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine, making it the most powerful Lamborghini ever launched. This mighty engine together with a four-wheel drive system, a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox and a track-focused aerodynamic package, will allow this motorized beast to rocket from standstill to 100 km/h in an impressive 2.7 seconds and achieve top speeds of 350 km/h.
The anniversary edition Lambo has been rumored to be built in a very limited run of 20 units and boast a price tag of more than €1 million.
