The house of the three pronged star has announced that is due to launch its much anticipated Mercedes AMG GT S, taking orders now for the early 2016 delivery schedule. This high performance supercar has critiques from every car genre getting giddy with excitement.

This supercar represents a culmination of mechanical engineering from the highly prestigious brand of Mercedes-Benz. Incorporating an even further enhanced engine from the SLS  AMG Supercar, which itself was the spiritual predecessor of the classic 300 SL "Gullwing". A racing car that was designed to win. And win was pretty much all it did, from Grand Prix circuits to distance road races, a competition held by leading car brands of the early 1950’s. 

Designed with immense inspiration, one pundit has it as “seemingly descended from the automotive gods”. Indeed Mercedes believes the AMG GT S represents an achievement of immense passion. Engineered with a 4.0 liter V8 biturbo engine and a 7-speed dual clutch transmission, the original conception of the AMG was born on the Affalterbach race track. With this prestigious lineage the AMG GT S does not fail to deliver with a 0-60 sprint of 3.7 seconds. The car has a low body weight and exceptionally fast transmission changes, that deliver thrilling turns on sharp corners.

The interior is nothing short of sumptuous with seats that are covered in a lush royal red leather while the console comprises a supercomputer that dominates the entire front. At $129,900 this vehicle doesn’t come cheap, but for the supercar that will appeal to your every sense of comfort, speed and style, you could consider it a bargain.
