Set off from Glasgow to the Old Town in Edinburgh where the Edinburgh Castle, a magnificent royal fortress, dominates the skyline from a hill above the city.

Visit the Abbey and Palace of Holyroodhouse, containing a collection of art from the Royal Collection. Edinburgh is known for its museums. See the National Museum of Scotland with the famous Millennium Clock. Visit the National War Museum and the National Gallery of Scotland.

A visit to the Edinburgh Zoo is a must. It is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Scotland and is home to giant pandas and offers a fun penguin parade. Then head down to the Ocean terminal at the Port to see the Royal Yacht Britannia. Tour this magnificent vessel and learn about its history.

Outdoor lovers can take a short hike up Calton Hill to see some of Edinburgh's famous monuments. See the National Monument, the Nelson Monument and the Stewart Dugald Monument. The views of the city and the the Firth of Forth are fabulous and call for some photos. For more great views visit Arthur's Seat, an extinct volcano east of the city. Then relax in the Royal Botanic Garden before having lunch at the stunning Michelin-starred Castle Terrace.

After lunch it is off to Princes Street in New Town for some designer shopping. Then discover Cockburn Street with many quirky alternative shops.

Settle down for an evening of traditional folk music at one of the pubs in the Old Town.

The Dictator

Sacha Baron Cohen’s film may well be classified as a satirical comedy, but if there is one thing that the fictitious dictator Gen. Aladeen takes very seriously, it’s his outrageous fleet of luxury cars. Our team at Europe Luxury Cars is proud to have been a key supplier of high-end (and sometimes over-the-top) cars for all scenes filmed in Europe.

When the legendary motor show dedicated a special to the south of Spain, they relied on Europe Luxury Cars to supply some of the most prestigious vehicles the region has to offer. The special was aptly titled Supercars in Spain (Series 20, Episode 3) where Jeremy, James and Richard each did their best to make these supercars shine.
