Step off your flight and relax. Our fabulous Meet and Greet Service will be waiting to welcome you at Luton Airport with the keys to your luxury minivan. Load up family and luggage and set off to Cambridge to explore this lovely city of crocuses and daffodils. The trip is a scenic drive of just over an hour.
When you reach Cambridge, head for Trinity Street where you will find the famous Trinity College designed by Sir Christopher Wren. Book lovers must spend time in the Wren Library which hosts medieval bibles, items belonging to Isaac Newton and a Winnie-the-Pooh manuscript.
Then visit King’s College and the Chapel made famous by its fabulous choir. Visit the fun Kettle’s Yard which houses a fine collection of art and then see the Sedgwick Museum of Earth Sciences, packed full of fossils and other archaeological artefacts.
Enjoy the fresh air and fabulous flowers in The Backs. These gardens alongside the River Cam are located behind the various colleges. Mingle with the locals and students and enjoy the vibe. Have a meal at the Midsummer House, it is one of only ten restaurants in Britain with two Michelin Stars.
After lunch, ‘Punting’ is on the cards. This classic Cambridge activity involves rowing yourself in a long wooden boat by pushing a pole against the shallow river bottom. When you get back to dry land, strawberries and champagne is the order of the day as you relax on the river bank.
