The history of this museum is a story of connection between the artist Raymond Peynet and his love for Provence, the French Riviera and in particular the Antibes area. It offers a collection of whimsical sculptures, humorous drawings and comic strips. The Museum was founded in 1995 and showcases his sixty year career through exhibitions of lithographs, etchings, drawings and other mediums. The museum also regularly hosts temporary exhibitions of other cartoonists' works. Buy a souvenir to take home and grab a delicious smoked duck breast sandwich from the ever popular La Ferme au Foie Gras. You may have to join a very long queue, they are so good!
