Visit the amazing Alcázar of Seville. Built by Moorish Muslim kings and singled out as an example of the iconic Mudejar architecture, this Renaissance Palace is one of the most beautiful in the world. Parts of the palace are still in use by the royal family as their official Seville residence. Then head to the Plaza de España, a landmark square decorated with bricks, ceramic tiles and wrought iron. Wander around and admire the beautiful fountains, ponds, flower beds and towers at either end. This plaza, built in both Art Deco and Neo-Mudéjar styles, sports tiled alcoves, each representing a different provinces of Spain.

Stop at La Giralda, one of only three remaining Almohad minarets in the world. It was destroyed by 14th century earthquake and was rebuilt adding more levels. You can climb to the top, but there are no stairs! Use the sloping walkways that allowed guards to go up on horseback.
