Visit the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa

First time visitors to Pisa have to head straight for the famous Leaning Tower. Learn how it took 344 years to build and leans due to one side sinking into soft ground. Near to the Leaning Tower and not to be missed is the magnificent Cattedrale di Pisa. This grand Medieval Cathedral features a marble façade, ornate Romanesque bronze doors and a carved pulpit that dates back to the 1300’s. Drive to the Piazza dei Cavalieri for some cooling, delicious Gelato before heading out of the city to Florence on the A11 for a drive of around 105km.

Enjoy Tuscan food in a traditional restaurant

Florence is a Renaissance city, packed with world famous art. Spend some time and visit the Uffizi Gallery and the Galleria dell'Accademia where you will view the awe-inspiring statue of David. He was crafted in 1501 by Michelangelo and remains one of the world’s greatest masterpieces.

Relax at the Trattoria Da Burde Firenze, located near the historical centre. Here you can sample traditional Florentine food in a family owned restaurant. Try their specialities like minestrone, meatballs, and chickpea farinata, with a fabulous selection of wines to pair.

Continue in your stylish Ferrari 488 GTB to Bologna

After lunch, continue your scenic drive through north Italy to Bologna, a distance of about 100km on the E35. Stop at the famous massive Fountain of Neptune, this huge bronze figure stands in the water surrounded my beautiful mermaids spewing water. Spend some time in the Piazza Maggiore, an ancient square loved by locals and tourists. It is lined with Medieval and Renaissance buildings and filled with cafés and street musicians.

Spend the night in Modena

The final leg of your trip takes you to Modena, a stunning ancient city that also offers thrills for car lovers. This is the birthplace of Ferrari, Lamborghini and Maserati! Spend the night at the Best Western Hotel Libertà. It is located in the Historic Centre, a short drive away from the beautiful Romanesque Modena Cathedral.

After a late breakfast drive to the Torre della Ghirlandina. This landmark bell tower looms over the city and offers stunning views from the top. It dates back to the 14th century and has magnificent interior frescoes.

After all this history it is time for something modern. Drive to the iconic Museo Casa Enzo Ferrari. Here you can take a guided tour and learn all about the Italian passion of fast cars and the life of Enzo Ferrari. Stroll around the showroom and view iconic Ferrari models from the rare 1950’s cars to the models of the future. You will feel right at home, driving your Ferrari 488 GTB.
