It is a listed UNESCO heritage site. Then drive to the Lighthouse of Genoa, a 76m tall lighthouse made of stone. It has military fortifications, a fascinating museum and was built in the Medieval era. Spend the night at the exclusive NH Collection Genova Marina, an elegant waterfront venue located in Genoa’s Old Port area.

Drive to Modena in the Italian Motor Valley

After a scrumptious breakfast, set off to Modena, a distance of around 255km. Stop in Parma, the Reggio Emilia food-lovers city famous for cheese and ham. Enjoy a lunch at the Salumeria Garibaldi delicatessen. You are sure to be awed by the wheels of Parmigiano-Reggiano, slabs of Prosciutto di Parma and salame Felino hanging from the ceiling.

Modena is the centre of attraction for Ferrari enthusiasts, and a day spent here will give you fascinating insight into the Maranello story. Visit the Museo Enzo Ferrari – a unique and enthralling experience that takes visitors back to the roots of the world’s most famous brand. It is easily identified by the striking yellow car bonnet-inspired roof that stands out against the Modena skyline. Take a guided tour and learn all about Enzo Ferrari and the unique cars he created.

Next, drive to the Lamborghini Factory and Car Museum. The goal of the museum is to cover all major milestones in the Lamborghini's history. Here you can view the iconic Muira and the old Lamborghini 350GT,
both in pristine condition, as well as other models in this renowned brand. Get immersed in the interactive displays and then have a guided tour through the factory. When you leave, stop in at the building next door where you will find the Lamborghini apparel store.
