When you get to Grenoble, head for the lovely Bastille Hill. Travel up to the top by cable car in a fun plastic bubble. At 260m above the town, the views are panoramic. See the ancient fortifications and the memorial to those who fought in World War II. Discover the delightful Parc Paul Mistral with extensive lawns and tree-lined avenues.
