Leaving Turin, your drive is about 265km, so it is worth planning a night stayover in the stunning Cinque Terre region to give you time to explore. You will drive via Asti, a small commune in the Piedmont region, take a trip to Alba and then via Genoa, along the scenic coast of the Italian Riviera.

Join the trend setters in a stunning Mercedes S63 AMG Cabriolet

Travelling the roads of the Italian Riviera calls for a sensational car and the Mercedes S63 AMG Cabriolet is the model of choice. Powered by an AMG 4.0-Litre 577hp V8 Biturbo Engine and an AMG Speedshift MCT 9-Speed Sports Transmission, it accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in just 3.5 seconds. The interior is fitted with cutting-edge luxury. Slip behind the wheel and experience the 12-way power adjustable AMG sports seats. If the air outside is cold and you want to drop the top – the seats offer Airscarf to warm your neck, and, they will even massage you as you travel.

Choose your delivery point

With our exclusive 5-star service, you can take delivery of your exotic sports car anywhere that suits you best. We can arrange to meet you at Turin-Caselle Airport, after your flight has landed. Simply head for the VIP lounge, relax over a cup of coffee and our Meet and Greet team will find you there. If you prefer that we come to your boutique hotel, luxury villa or Château, you tell us when and where is most convenient and we will accommodate.

Set off from Turin to Asti and Alba

Set off along the E70 to Asti, a drive of around an hour. Enjoy the sporty AMG Performance steering wheel, clad in Nappa leather with a 3-spoke design. It offers a good grip and features shift paddles that allow manual gear changing for a responsive and sporty driving style.

Asti has a beautiful Cathedral to explore. Also see the Torre Troyana, a freestanding tall bell tower from the 19th century, that is one of the main landmarks. Drive on south towards Alba and stop in Sinio, a sleepy hamlet that lies in the most idyllic part of Piedmont’s vineyards. This region is the White Truffle capital of the world and tasting a few is a must. Stop at the Castello di Sinio, where the owner personally serves up a gourmet breakfast which is a feast – how about – porcini and goat cheese scrambled eggs, spicy salsiccia sausage with sage and apple, hazelnut crepes and caramelised orange?

Piedmont is one the world’s Top Ten regions for wine enthusiasts

Drive to Alba through the endless vineyards – this region is famous for its wine. It is a World Heritage Site and classified in the Top Ten destinations in the world for wine enthusiasts to visit. Stop at a local wine estate and take a cellar and wine tasting guided tour. Sample the distinctive regional varietals like barolo, brachetto and moscato, accompanied by salami and artisan cheese. Alba is also the home of dark chocolate, a delight for any chocoholic! If you want to explore even more, Alba is filled with underground tunnels that offer archaeological sites, including a temple and Roman Theatre. Art lovers will be awed by the exquisite mosaic work inside the tunnels.

Drive on to Genoa

When you surface, relax in the luxurious cabin of your Mercedes S63 AMG Cabriolet and drive on to Genoa along the A7, a distance of around 150km. Genoa is known for its most famous street, the Via Garibaldi. It is a UNESCO listed heritage site and is filled withopulent 16th century residences, museums and Renaissance palaces.

For a late lunch, drive to the Old Port and get a table at Antica Osteria di Vico Palla. The restaurant was established in the 17th century and has a quaint menu written on a chalkboard, offering the seafood catch of the day.

See the hanging villages of Cinque Terre

Leaving Genoa, you travel along the famous coastal road of the Italian Riviera. Drop the top and enjoy the thrill of open-air driving. Make sure you wave at passing trend-setters in their equally seductive models. The five villages of Cinque Terre, Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore, create a sight seen no-where else on the planet. Filled with coloured buildings, they hang perilously on the high cliff sides overlooking the azure ocean. Plan to spend the night at the Hotel Villa Argentina in Riomaggiore. In the morning you can explore Cinque Terre on foot, strolling along the narrow streets down to the sea.
