Start in the beautiful town of Positano, built up against the mountain cliffs. See the Collegiata di Santa Maria Assunta, an ancient building which houses the famous 13th century Byzantine icon, the Madonna di Positano.
Visit the small village of Praiano and stroll around in the church squares of San Gennaro and San Luca. Set off to Amalfi itself where you will be thrilled by the stunning Cathedral which was built in the 10th century. See the magnificent bell tower from the harbour and visit the Cloister of Paradise, built in the 13th century. It is home to old mosaics and paintings and 120 columns built in the Arabic style. Set off on the next day to see the magnificent La Grotta dello Smeraldo, near the town of Conca dei Marini. Exchange your luxury van for a boat ride to get there.
