Ride in style with a Mercedes V-Class, a luxury van that can accommodate eight people and explore at your ease the island of Sardinia. You will appreciate its spacious and cosy interior and flexible seating arrangements as well as the large cargo space.

Also on offer, you may book a Mercedes Vito, a premium passenger van with a seating capacity for seven.

Top Sights in Cagliari

Collect your rented luxury van in Cagliari, the capital and spend some time exploring the city. Visit the Santuario e Basilica di Bonaria. This ancient complex consists of a sanctuary, a basilica and a cemetery. Then go to Bastione di Saint Remy for panoramic views of the city. Historians must see the Castello di San Michele, built in the 12th century on one of the beautiful hills surrounding the city. Cool off at the Beach Poetto and have lunch at the famous Antico Caffè 1855 before climbing into your van and heading north to Sassari.

A Day-Trip to Sassari

Drive your Mercedes V-Class from Cagliari in the south to Sassari in the north. It is a trip of just over two hours with stunning scenery.

When you reach the city, head for the Museo Nazionale Sanna. It is Sassari's premier museum, boasting a comprehensive archaeological collection and a section dedicated to Sardinian folk art. Delight in the display of bronzeware, weapons, bracelets, votive boats and figurines.

Stroll around in the Piazza Italia, surrounded by imposing 19th century buildings, including the neoclassical Palazzo della Provincia and the neo-Gothic Palazzo Giordano. Visit the interesting Monte d’Accoddi, a unique archaeological site centred on a 3rd millennium BC temple.

Stop for a late lunch at the famous La Vela Latina. This local favourite offers everything from exotic trippa, tripe, and cervella, brain, to more traditional plates of pastas and risottos.

Drive back to Cagliari for a night at the Maison Miramare Boutique Hotel.

Located on the second floor of a charming historic building, it offers unforgettable views over the Port.

The Dictator

Sacha Baron Cohen’s film may well be classified as a satirical comedy, but if there is one thing that the fictitious dictator Gen. Aladeen takes very seriously, it’s his outrageous fleet of luxury cars. Our team at Europe Luxury Cars is proud to have been a key supplier of high-end (and sometimes over-the-top) cars for all scenes filmed in Europe.

When the legendary motor show dedicated a special to the south of Spain, they relied on Europe Luxury Cars to supply some of the most prestigious vehicles the region has to offer. The special was aptly titled Supercars in Spain (Series 20, Episode 3) where Jeremy, James and Richard each did their best to make these supercars shine.
